Health and Safety: The safety of all children at The Baby Scoop is paramount. Your child remains your responsibility while at The Baby Scoop messy and sensory play classes, events and parties and must be supervised throughout (if you leave the room for any reason, please take your child with you). We politely ask that members do not attend if their child is suffering from a contagious illness. Whilst we endeavour to clear all spillages as soon as they have occurred, some of the materials can cause the play area to become slippery so please, NO running. All materials are made in the knowledge that they are to be played with under a parent / carer’s supervision. We appreciate your help in trying to avoid unnecessary / intentional pouring of materials outside of their immediate play areas so that everyone enjoys the experience. The Baby Scoop accepts no liability or responsibility for any belongings including clothes that are stained, marked or damaged. Please note that the paint may stain. 

Allergies: The Baby Scoop classes are all sourced from trusted suppliers / high street retailers / well known supermarkets. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to ensure the child/children do not interact with any material/food substance that may cause an allergic reaction to their child/children. Allergens will be noted next to each activity and ingredients list can be requested. We make every effort to supply items that are either edible, non-toxic/ hypoallergenic. However we advise that all materials provided including foodstuffs are not to be consumed by the babies/toddlers as some products (despite being edible) may present a choking hazard. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, allergic reaction or illness found to be directly attributed from any product or item provided in our classes. It remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian in attendance for supervising the children they are accompanying.

Payment: Due to hire charges. preparation and material costs, payment is non-refundable.

Attendance: Please sign in to the class upon arrival. Please notify us as soon as possible if you aren't able to attend a class that you have booked on to so we can open the space for drop-ins.

Cancellations: The Baby Scoop reserves the right to cancel classes without refund in circumstances beyond our control (i.e. adverse weather conditions, closure of venue, staff illness) although we will endeavour to run catch up classes. If The Baby Scoop are unable to offer a catch up class, or you are unable to attend the catch up class that was organised due to our cancelling of a class, then refunds will be given. If you have any further queries, please contact us.

Photo Consent: The Baby Scoop staff may take photographs or video clips during classes. This footage may be used on the website, Instagram/Facebook page, and marketing materials. If you do not wish to have your child's photograph taken, please state this on your booking form and also let us know when you arrive to class.

Due to limited space in the venue, only ONE adult per child to attend the class.
